The 28th edition of the Forum on Marine Resources and Aquaculture of the Galician Rías (ForoAcui) will take place on October 1 and 2 at the O Grove Municipal Auditorium. It will feature a programme focused on some of the sector’s main challenges.

Among other issues, the current problems facing shellfish harvesting and new technologies applied to aquaculture will be addressed. The event will also provide an opportunity to learn first-hand about the experience and projects of leading companies in the sector.

Other key topics of the event will be climate change and its impact on species and farming techniques, as well as Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things (IoT), tools that are opening up new possibilities in areas such as monitoring, data analysis, process automation and improving efficiency in the marine and aquaculture sector.

CICA, one of CLIRAQUA’s partners, will also attend the event.
