Catarina Oliveira, researcher at CIIMAR – University of Porto, within the group led by Rodrigo Ozório, participated in the 29th Aquaculture Seminar organised by APA – Aquaculture Portuguese Association.

During the event, she presented the CLIRAQUA project and highlighted the importance of including the aquaculture sector in climate change discussions, as well as the need to better listen to and represent producers.

Her participation opened a potential collaboration with APA to facilitate contact with aquaculture producers in Portugal, gather insights into the sector’s current and future challenges, and explore possible joint actions.
