On 12 November we’re holding the workshop Climate Change Impacts and Adaptation in Spanish Aquaculture: A Shared Diagnosis at Biopolo Sionlla (Santiago de Compostela), as part of the CLIRAQUA project.
We’ll present the project’s first results and then get straight down to work: in a roundtable session, companies, universities, research centres, producers and public administration will sit down together to identify the climate challenges facing aquaculture and the opportunities for adaptation.
But this goes far beyond a single session in Santiago. The same exercise will also take place in Portugal, France and Ireland, and the results from all four regions will be compared to build a shared vision for the Atlantic. What you contribute won’t stay in the room: it feeds into a European project and puts Galicia on the map of adaptation in the sector.
Why you shouldn’t miss it:
- You’ll see CLIRAQUA’s first data before anyone else.
- Your voice travels across Europe, compared with insights from Portugal, France and Ireland.
- Your experience goes straight into the sector’s adaptation roadmap.
- Networking across the whole value chain: from the farm to the lab to public administration.
- It’s free, and places are limited.
Registration is now open and places are limited, so save the date and come join us!
